Shipping Policy
Professional Shipping Terms for Reliable Freight Movement.
This Shipping Policy explains how Peregro Logistics handles shipment requests, cargo acceptance, delivery coordination, tracking, customs support, and customer responsibilities.
Shipment Acceptance
Shipments are accepted only when the goods, documentation, declared value, packaging, weight, dimensions, destination, and service requirements are clearly provided and approved.
Accurate Shipment Information
Customers are responsible for providing correct sender details, receiver details, cargo description, declared value, weight, dimensions, delivery address, and any special handling instructions.
Packaging Requirements
All goods must be packed securely for transport. Packaging must protect the shipment during loading, handling, transit, storage, customs inspection, and final delivery.
Transit Times
Transit times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, weather conditions, port congestion, aircraft or vessel schedules, carrier delays, documentation issues, or other operational factors.
Customs & Duties
International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, clearance charges, and regulatory checks. These costs are the responsibility of the sender or receiver unless agreed otherwise.
Restricted Goods
Certain goods may be restricted, prohibited, or require special approval. Customers must declare regulated items before shipment acceptance.
Shipping Standards
Our Service Policy
These terms help protect customers, carriers, receivers, and all parties involved in the movement of goods through our logistics network.
Shipping Terms & Conditions
These Shipping Terms and Conditions apply to freight, cargo transportation, delivery, customs coordination, and related logistics services provided by Peregro Logistics. By booking or using our services, customers acknowledge and agree to the applicable terms outlined below.
Collection and Shipment Processing
Shipment collection is arranged according to the agreed service, pickup location, cargo type, shipment size, documentation, and carrier availability. Customers are responsible for ensuring that goods are properly packed, ready for collection at the agreed time, and accessible for safe loading.
If a shipment is not ready, incorrectly packaged, inaccurately declared, or unavailable for collection, additional charges or delays may apply. Peregro Logistics reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or suspend shipment processing where required information is missing or where the cargo presents a safety, legal, customs, or handling concern.
Delivery Terms
Deliveries are made to the address provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that the destination is accessible and suitable for the type and size of shipment.
Delivery may require a signature, proof of identity, receiving stamp, or confirmation from the consignee. If the recipient is unavailable, delivery may be rescheduled, returned, or held at a designated facility depending on the service selected and applicable carrier conditions.
Tracking and Shipment Updates
Shipment tracking information is provided based on available carrier scans, warehouse processing, customs updates, and delivery milestones. Tracking information may not update in real time and temporary gaps between updates may occur during transit.
Customers should use the tracking number or shipment reference provided at the time of booking or shipment confirmation. For additional assistance, customers may contact Peregro Logistics with the relevant shipment information.
Customs Clearance and International Shipments
International shipments may require customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, import permits, tax identification numbers, product descriptions, or other supporting documents.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and documentation required for customs processing. Customs clearance times are controlled by the relevant customs authorities and may vary depending on the destination country, cargo type, documentation, inspections, duties, taxes, and local regulations.
Peregro Logistics may assist with customs coordination but cannot guarantee customs clearance or release times.
Prohibited and Restricted Items
Peregro Logistics does not knowingly accept shipments that violate applicable laws, customs regulations, transportation requirements, safety standards, or carrier restrictions.
Certain restricted goods may require prior approval, special documentation, specific packaging, permits, or regulated transportation arrangements. Customers must accurately declare any dangerous, fragile, temperature-sensitive, high-value, liquid, chemical, battery-powered, food, medical, or otherwise regulated goods before shipment acceptance.
Failure to properly declare restricted or regulated cargo may result in shipment refusal, delay, additional charges, seizure, or other action required by applicable authorities or carriers.
Liability and Service Limitations
Peregro Logistics takes reasonable care in coordinating shipments through appropriate transportation and logistics processes. However, transportation services may be affected by circumstances outside our direct control, including customs delays, port congestion, weather conditions, carrier disruptions, road or infrastructure issues, incorrect documentation, receiver unavailability, government restrictions, or force majeure events.
Any liability may be subject to the service selected, cargo type, declared value, insurance coverage, carrier terms, and applicable laws or international transport conventions. Customers are encouraged to obtain appropriate cargo insurance, particularly for high-value, fragile, or sensitive shipments.
Claims, Delays, Damage, or Missing Shipments
Any claim relating to loss, visible damage, shortage, delay, or another delivery concern should be reported to Peregro Logistics as soon as reasonably possible.
Where applicable, customers may be asked to provide the tracking number, shipment reference, photographs, commercial invoice, packing information, proof of delivery, and a clear description of the issue.
Claims may be reviewed using shipment records, delivery evidence, carrier reports, packaging condition, declared cargo information, and applicable service terms. Submission of a claim does not automatically establish liability or guarantee compensation.
